As per Tommy’s wish, a Musician’s Bash has been scheduled for July 16, 2023 at the Shoemakersville Fire Company banquet hall starting at 1:00 PM until around 5:00 PM.

This will be a gathering of family, friends and musicians to celebrate Tommy’s life of love, faith and music along with the joy he has brought to each one of us. By Tommy’s request, there will be no sadness allowed… Tommy lived a full happy life and that is how he wanted to be remembered.

There will be 3 sets of music performed by musicians who have known, loved and worked with Tommy throughout his outstanding and far-reaching career including special song dedications, stories of Tom’s escapades both on and off stage, and, of course, PLENTY of steel guitar from a few of the seasoned steelers who have played at the infamous Jalappa Steel Guitar Jams that Tom has commandeered over the years. Tom has held ALL the steelers that have been part of the jams in very high regard – we are honored that these players could make this event, as well as the rest of the musicians working together to honor Tom’s legacy.

Please plan to join family and friends for an afternoon of fellowship, music, food, beer and merriment in the true Tommy Vollmer tradition!
